EXTERNAL MESSAGES

The Science activities in East Tennessee have been an important driver of the national economy during the past 50 years.

Collaboration between the University of Tennessee, the Oak Ridge National Lab, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Department of Energy and the private sector is at an all time high, focusing market-driven applied research and development.

As the nation sets new courses for the next decade and beyond, Science will continue to be an important cornerstone to our economic future.

With multi-disciplined facilities, Oak Ridge is best positioned to lead the nation in Science partnerships with business and industry.
